“I see it before it exists”

Since March 1984, I’ve dedicated my career to creating outdoor environments that transform the way people live. I started my own landscape company after spending a year working with a friend who owned a landscape maintenance business. Watching him build his company sparked something in me, and I remember thinking, “I can do this.” That belief became the foundation of a career that has now spanned more than four decades.

I earned my contractor’s license in May 1988 and have proudly kept it in good standing ever since. What began as landscape maintenance quickly expanded into residential construction, commercial properties, and eventually complete design-build projects.

My greatest skill is seeing what others can’t see yet. I can walk into an outdated, empty, or unattractive outdoor space and instantly visualize the transformation in my mind — the flow, the materials, the plants, the atmosphere, and how the space will ultimately feel. During a personal walkthrough with each client, I listen closely to their ideas, lifestyle, and vision, then combine their input with my experience to bring the finished project to life before the design process is even complete.

Creating that shared vision is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do. My goal is for every client to be able to see the possibilities and feel excited about their future outdoor surrounding from the very first conversation.

I’ve always had a deep appreciation for beautiful environments and the way they transform the way people feel. Selecting the right layout, materials, plant species, creating scale with natural balance, colors , and textures is my forte. I design landscape spaces that feel inviting and timeless—that’s where my natural ability and experience makes all the difference. San Diego’s incredible year-round weather provides the perfect setting for outdoor living, and I’ve spent decades creating patios, gardens, and backyard settings that allow families to fully enjoy the lifestyle our climate offers.

I’ve intentionally kept my company boutique so I can remain personally involved in every project. Quality comes from communication, attention to detail, precise execution, and follow-up after the work is completed.

After more than 40 years in business and 60 years as a proud San Diego local, the foundation remains the same: passion, creativity, hard work, and a genuine desire to help people create outdoor spaces they love living in every day.
